                                                                          Magic

Magic is a wondrous thing. It is amazing and complicated. I have read many a book about it and I still don't understand it completely. I will explain it the best I can. You may still have questions afterwards though.

Magic was created 5000 years ago. The King of Egypt had had 10 sons. The youngest got extremely angry at a disobedient servant he shouted a word in an unknown language. The servant disappeared, never to be seen on the face of this earth again. The son soon found that when he felt a strong emotion,he shouted words of power. These words had an effect on the world around him. He remembered these words and their uses, and soon, was able to use them at his will.

He passed down this skill to his children. Magic came to other families over the years, and they passed the skill down as well. Al children(or adults,a matter of fact) who inherited or started using magic were taken away immediately to special training at first sign of magic. Their main trainer was the oldest live person in the first family of magic that could used magic. Normally, they were taught how to use a sword as well.

After years of research on magic, magicians made a break through. They figured out how magic works. It is made by taking energy from your body, and channeling it with a purpose,to do a certain thing. Most magicians are born with an extra preserve of energy. Some, though, form their magic by getting extremely

angry,or some other really strong emotion. These magicians have a normal store of energy, and usually utterly exhaust themselves after a single spell, running out of magic, killing themselves instantly.

There are some magicians that receive there magic by forming a magical bond between the magician and an animal of some sort. The more famous of said bond between a human and a dragon, but it is not unheard of for a human to bond with other animals. Such a bond binds the two beings together in every aspect of their life.
Magic is mysterious thing. It is nigh on impossible to understand. We can only do our best to understand the mystery that is magic.

I once sat in the park

and I met a man named Poe

He gave a great bark

and lost his toe

and left me there to sew

I then met a man named Jack

who fell and broke his back

He said to me "Can you carry this sack?

I have to pack"

So after I helped Jack pack

I sat down on a bench

A man came along eating a sack

and fell into a trench

Someone helped him out and said "My name's Mari"

the man replied "I'm Pari, your nice you see"

This is my life

Isn't it nice?

 I have to go

and talk to my friends Pari, Mari, Jack, and Poe

Blog
I don't know what to blog about. My mind is empty of ideas. I don't want to blog, but my mother makes me. She always makes me do some educational  thing during summer vacation. I'm already co-writing a book with my friend Natalie. Natalie's awesome. She's so sweet and is such a good friend. Although she's not my best friend. I don't really have one of those. I never have. I have one friend called Annie that I'm pretty close too, but her best friend is someone else, and we can't be best friends if I'm not her best friend. Annie's from North Carolina. I've only been there a couple of times, and even then, we're only driving through it for some big road trip. Every time we go on a trip where we have to drive a long way, it's always my job to clean out the car. I get good money for it, which I use to buy minutes for my cell phone. I got it about a month ago. My brother Aaron got his for Christmas. His is like mine, a cheep flip phone.I got a guitar for Christmas, which is way better than a cell phone to me. My dad's teaching me how to play. He's amazing at guitar. I consider myself average for my age. I love to play music. I love to listen to it too. Lately, all I listen to is Phantom of the Opera. Phantom is awesome. It's violent, romantic and has amazing singing all in one movie. I watched it for the first time with my mom on our girls night. We have girls night every Sunday night when Aaron and my dad go to youth group. I used to want to go to youth group so badly, but then my parents made the whole family go. I didn't fit in. I wasn't even supposed to be there. So now I stay home with my mom. We watch T.V. and eat dinner but that's all. I have a pretty boring life.

Tunnel

I ran throughout the castle with all my strength. I had never run as fast as I did then. I was terrified. Anyone would be if they were being chased by a griffin. Frantically, I looked for an escape route, because I was nearing a dead end. Soon, I reached the wall at the end of the corridor I was running along. I turned around to face the horrible creature. Then, something caught my eye through my peripheral vision. It was a tunnel, mostly hidden by a tapestry. I turned and ran down it. It was an empty tunnel with rounded walls and no features. I ran, and ran, and ran. The griffin was inches behind me. I could see sunlight up ahead. Griffins can't go in sunlight, so it started to get desperate. It reached out for me, but I dove into the daylight. I was free.

The Craziest Randomest Summer
I thought that I would have a normal summer of playing at the pool, camping, and visiting relatives. But little did I know what would really happen. It all started when the doorbell rang in the middle of the second week of summer.I ran to the door and opened it. Nothing was there. Then I looked down and saw a pumpkin with arms, legs, and a mouth! He said that if I carved a face on him, then stuck my hand in him, then he would grant me 1 wish. So I happily obliged. I wasn't a very good artist, so It looked very bad, but I could tell he was very grateful to have more than just a mouth. I then made a wish to be a good artist. Instead of getting my wish, I felt my body being sucked into the pumpkin. inside, a deformed, non-human looking, black-caped man stood in a spotlight, I turned and ran down a hallway that had suddenly appeared. in the middle of it, I ran into a gigantic puffer fish. Unable to stop myself, I vaulted my self on top of it, and, using it as a spring board, I jumped off it. but I kept going up. I had been sucked up a chute on the ceiling. At the top, I saw a huge slimy, mouth. Naturally, I was tossed into it. I fell into a upside down room filled doors, I suddenly felt rather ditsy and light headed. Thereafter, I spent the rest of my summer as Alice from Alice in Wonderland. I went through the famous story millions of times, only sleep when the script allowed it. But I truly thought I was Alice. After the summer had come and gone, I woke up on the doorstep of my home. When my parents saw me, They sent me to Juvie, where I spent the whole school year until they let me go home.

The Boy Who Caught the Golden Apple
a parody of iron hans a grimm fairy tail

Although I live in an isolated kingdom, word still reaches us about neighboring kingdoms. So naturally, I heard about the trouble in the nearby forest that was on our borders. I heard that several knights had disappeared in there, a neighboring kingdom had captured a wild woman that had caused the disappearances, and the king's son who set her free in exchange for his ball that had rolled into her cage. It didn't concern me any. We never went into that forest anyway, so the wild woman wouldn't bother us. Neither would the king's son that she took with her, as he was only a child. Besides, as a princess, I had too many royal duties to go frolicking about in nearby forests, so I didn't think much about it.
Other more interesting things arose, like the gardener's boy with the golden hair. I called to him 3 times from my window to bring me field flowers. Each time, I grabbed his cap off his head, and each time, he somehow managed to snatch it back and get away. I didn't have time to think about it from there on out, because my kingdom went to war.
But then, an anonymous hero came to our rescue with 50 mounted knights and won the war for us. So I decided to throw a golden apple to all my father's knights. The one who caught it would be our hero (a fairy put a detective spell on it). I threw apples 2 times. Each time,  a mysterious knight caught it then rode away. The 3rd time, we chased him down, killing his horse, wounding his leg, and capturing him.
We didn't hurt him anymore than that. He merely waited in his given quarters for somebody to summon him. Eventually, the King made him serve him his evening meal. The mysterious stranger brought the meal to the head of the table where my father sat. When the boy sat the golden platter down, the king yanked the cap off his head and threw it across the room. The boy's hair fumbled down on his shoulders like a glittering curtain.
It was the gardener's boy, and the boy the wild woman had taken into the forest! He was so handsome. I knew I was in love the moment it happened. My father was so grateful that the boy had save our kingdom in the war. He offered him the usual reward:half of our kingdom and my hand in marriage. I was so happy at his offer. It was all I could do not to squeal from happiness. Instead I laughed and planted a kiss on him.
From then on pot it all went wonderfully. The boy's parents where overjoyed to find him alive and well. Both kingdoms celebrated our marriage. In the middle of our wedding feast, a princess walked in and told us that she was the wild woman, as well as my husband's long lost older sister and he had set her free from an enchantment that a bad fairy had put on her. So, as you can see, we all lived happily ever after.
